Billy Freed is a serial entrepreneur and investor in Texas. He currently serves as the Investor-in-Residence at Trinity University, and Principal in Nueces Marketing Partners, Ltd., a diversified investment partnership. He is a co-founder of Presidian Hotels and Destinations and has almost 30 years of experience investing in hotels and hotel secured debt.

A 1981 graduate of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, his hard-won expertise and enduring working relationships in the business community make him an invaluable asset. He has served, or is currently serving, on numerous Boards of companies in the telecommunications, education, consumer products and services, and financial services industries, as well as non-profits.
